Representation of Ethnicity

Black people:
Dixon Wilson- 90210

Olivia pope- scandal 

mid shot is used  to show his body language and facial expression showing his rebellious behaviour of the typical black person. At the same time a crab shot is used to follow his movements as he heads out the door. The dialect currently in the scene is his parents speaking about him doing wrong things that leads to consequences. In terms of ethnicity it shows him going against the rules and going against what he's been told. He is represented to currently have an attitude of a gangster this meaning that he doesn't care about his actions. The lighting is darkened  to show he is up to no good and is rebellious.

White People:
President Fitzgerald - scandal

low angle is used throughout to show how dominate he is over the people he is speaking to.  

The costume shows that he has a large amount of power as well as the dialect he uses. He has a powerful tone which suggests this.

Crab shot is used to show his importance the audience he is speaking to. 

Chinese people:

CLOSE UP- focus on what shes saying and in this case it is something stupid and the back is blurred. and the use of shot reverse shot is used to dshw pipers reaction of how stupid she sounds. - Chinese women are seen to be "ditzy". A cut then used to have close up to the woman listening to the conversation as she knows that she is an easy target for anything an example "bullying". She is spoken to by piper in a child like way suggesting she is a really ditzy person and the complete opposite of smart as Chinese people would be portrayed. 

Asian People: 

 Masood - Eastenders

opposite of being serious as they would be portrayed. shown in their clothing and their dialect as its not formal. EXAMPLE. seeing as push over. Long shot to show his body language as he walks with his hands in his pockets which is not very  formal or respectful. a cut is then used to transition into the scene of them misusing the trolley around the village.  They are protrayed as a rebel in this clip as they run away when they crash the trolley into the car.
