The soundtrack was composed by Ben Salisbury and Goeff Barrow. The soundtrack album was realised digitally on the 20th January 2015 and on CD in February 2015.

It did not involve any green screen or special effects used when filming.  There were mostly VFX shots, approximately 800,000.  The character Ava was 3D printed for a scene that takes place in the laboratory where she’s constructed.
